The Van Tri Golf Club is conveniently located 30 minutes from Hanoi city center and was North Vietnam’s first exclusively private golf estate. The golf course was designed by renowned architect, Peter Rousseau and as so presents the traditional values and solid approach that is forever exciting and challenging to play; one that will certainly stand the test of time. Van Tri is visually stunning as the right balance of blending together colors, textures, heights and elements of stone, water, sand, grass and trees to provide a great variety that defines each and every individual hole.
Playing to over 7,200 yards from the tips to 6,700 yards from the blue members tees Van Tri provides golfers of all skill levels the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf. Laid out on relatively flat terrain, the course presents a challenging variety of well-maintained, predominantly pine-lined holes. Small moguls dot the fairways and highlight the sharp-edged green side bunker complexes. A god mix of holes provide for multiple lines of attack, forced carries on some holes, good risk reward for long hitters, and at the same time generous fairways and lay-up areas. The golf course shaping and conditioning are without a doubt the best in North Vietnam. Full Paspalum playing surfaces insure good fairway lies and excellent year round putting conditions.
The club house amenities include a main dining room serving both Vietnamese and international cuisine, well maintained locker and changing rooms, pro shop, and private rooms that lend themselves well to larger groups or VIP’s.
